The Northern Cyprus Fire Department, while reminding citizens of the prohibition of lighting fires in Northern Cyprus between May 1 and October 31, urged citizens to comply with this law and to call the fire department’s number 199, forest fire emergency number 177, or police emergency number 155 if they see any signs of smoke or fire.
