University of Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus specializes in maritime studies. Kyrenia Private University was established in 2013 in the port city of Kyrenia, one of the most beautiful and historical cities in Northern Cyprus. After obtaining the necessary credits from the Ministry of National Education and Culture (TRNC) and the Higher Education Planning, Accreditation and Coordination Council of North Cyprus, in 2014, the University of Kyrenia began admitting students in 10 different fields of study in maritime studies.
Since the University of Kyrenia did not have a private campus at the beginning of its activity, it offered its educational activities at the Near East University. After about a year, the coastal campus of the university was opened in Karakum, and since then, classes have been held at the new location of the university on the beautiful port city of Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus.
From the beginning of the academic year 2018-2019, the University of Kyrenia offers a total of 45 educational programs at the associate and bachelor’s degree in 14 specialized faculties, one academy and 2 professional technical schools, as well as 4 graduate education programs for students.

Tuition Fee at University of Kyrenia
The tuition fees of the academic courses at the University of Kyrenia are different according to the field of study and the degree.
The annual cost for studying in most faculties of University of Kyrenia, such as faculties of Maritime Management, Maritime Studies, Education, Arts and Sciences, Law, Economics and Administration, Architecture, Engineering, Health Sciences, Professional School of Health Services, Professional School of Aviation, Professional School of Maritime, Vocational School of Justice, Vocational School of Foreign Languages and Vocational Technical School for the undergraduate course is about 5,600 euros.
The annual tuition for Dentistry in English is 11,600 euros, pharmacy is 8,600 euros, and medicine is 12,600 euros.
If a student is eligible to receive the scholarship of University of Kyrenia, the tuition fee will be reduced by 50%.
